Privacy Policy — Event Photo Stream

UXPhoto Live Mobile App — Last updated May 2026

What UXPhoto Live Does

UXPhoto Live is designed to connect compatible camera devices to cloud-connected event workflows. The application enables event photographers and event systems to securely transfer media from cameras to cloud infrastructure for processing, synchronization, and guest delivery experiences.

During an event, photos captured by the photography team may be securely transferred from compatible camera devices through the UXPhoto Live application and uploaded to secure cloud storage infrastructure, including AWS S3.

Guests may optionally submit a selfie during an event experience. The application may use automated facial matching technology to compare the submitted selfie against available event photos and display matching results to the user.

This process is automated. No human manually reviews selfies or performs manual face matching operations as part of the normal application workflow.

Camera Connectivity and Device Discovery

UXPhoto Live discovers and connects to compatible camera devices over local Wi-Fi networks. The application may identify compatible devices using information such as:

  • Wi-Fi network names (SSID)
  • Device vendor identifiers (OUI/MAC vendor information)

The application may automatically reconnect to previously configured or trusted camera Wi-Fi networks to simplify media transfer workflows. Nearby device access is used solely for camera connectivity and related application functionality.

Media Transfer Workflow

UXPhoto Live may perform the following workflow during event operations:

  1. A compatible camera device connects to the application over a local Wi-Fi network
  2. Photos and videos are transferred from the camera to the mobile device
  3. Media files may be temporarily stored locally on the mobile device during transfer or upload processing
  4. Media files are securely uploaded to cloud storage infrastructure, including AWS S3
  5. Temporary local copies may be automatically removed after successful upload and synchronization

UXPhoto Live may use Wi-Fi networks, mobile data networks, and internet connectivity to support media transfer, synchronization, and cloud upload operations.

Permissions Used by UXPhoto Live

Nearby Devices Permission

UXPhoto Live uses the Nearby Devices permission to discover, identify, and communicate with compatible camera devices over local Wi-Fi networks.

This permission is used only for:

  • Camera discovery
  • Camera connectivity
  • Media transfer workflows
  • Device communication required for core application functionality

This permission is not used for unrelated device tracking, advertising, or profiling.

Location Permission

Android requires location permission for certain nearby Wi-Fi device discovery operations. UXPhoto Live uses location permission solely to enable discovery and connection to compatible camera devices over local networks.

UXPhoto Live does not:

  • Track user location
  • Store location history
  • Use location data for advertising
  • Share location data with advertisers
  • Perform background location tracking

Location access is used only for camera connectivity functionality while the application is in use.

Notification Permission

UXPhoto Live may request notification permission to:

  • Display transfer progress
  • Display upload and synchronization status
  • Show connection and workflow status
  • Support Android foreground/background transfer services

Notifications are used strictly for operational and workflow-related functionality. UXPhoto Live does not use notifications for advertising or promotional spam.

Data Retention

Selfies submitted for event matching are retained only for the duration necessary to provide the event experience and matching functionality.

Temporary media files stored locally on the mobile device are used only for transfer, synchronization, and upload processing purposes and may be automatically removed after successful upload.

Event photos and related content are retained only for the duration of the event and any agreed post-event delivery window. After that period, content may be removed from active storage.

Children's Privacy

UXPhoto Live is intended for use by event guests aged 16 and above, or by minors only under direct parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without appropriate parental consent.

Your Control

You may exit an event session at any time. You may also revoke camera, location, nearby device, or notification permissions through your device settings at any time. After permissions are revoked, related functionality may stop working.

No further event-session data processing occurs after you leave the active event session, except where temporary retention is required to complete ongoing uploads or synchronization already initiated by the application.

Data Sharing

UXPhoto Live does not sell personal data or media content to third parties. Media files and related processing data may be handled through secure cloud infrastructure providers solely for core application functionality, including media upload, synchronization, storage, and automated matching operations.

Security

UXPhoto Live uses industry-standard secure communication methods where applicable to help protect media transfers, uploads, and cloud synchronization during transmission.
